The company has said that this problem has been solved. The outage problem lasted for about an hour, due to which the application was failing repeatedly. It has also affected the OpenAI Playground Assistant. In the latest update, the company has said that this problem has been resolved.
There was a problem on both the app and the website
People have also complained about OpenAI ChatGPT being down on the global outage tracking platform Downdetector. On this platform, at 9.45 pm, 470 people had complained about the service being down. 80 percent of the people were facing problems related to ChatGPT. At the same time, 17 percent of the people were facing problems on the website. 3 percent of app users were affected by this outage.
OpenAI acknowledged the problem at 9.21 pm (PDT) or 9.51 pm Indian time and said that they are investigating it. During this time, users started complaining about it on social media platform X. OpenAI’s service has been a victim of outage before as well.
