Iran Israel Tension: Three senior Iranian officials have suggested measures to stop Iran. Many Gulf countries, including the US and Western countries, have appealed to both sides to reduce tensions, but Iran’s anger does not seem to be subsiding.
The world’s major powers are engaged in stopping Iran’s retaliatory attack. Despite all the efforts of America, Iran’s attitude is not decreasing, it is constantly threatening to attack Israel. Three senior officials of Iran have suggested a way to stop this attack. According to the officials, only Gaza ceasefire can stop Iran’s retaliation. Officials said that if a ceasefire happens in Gaza, Iran’s anger may calm down a bit.
After the murder of Hamas’s political chief Haniyeh in Tehran and the murder of Hezbollah commander Fawad Shukr in Beirut, Iran and Hezbollah have vowed to take revenge from Israel. The tension that has been going on in the Middle East for the last 9 months has increased further after these threats and at any time it can take the form of a big war. To reduce this tension, many Gulf countries including America and Western countries have appealed to both sides to reduce the tension.
Iran’s attack can be stopped by ceasefire deal
According to Reuters, three senior Iranian officials have claimed that a ceasefire in Gaza could prevent an Iranian attack. In comments released on Tuesday, the US ambassador to Turkey said Washington is talking to allies to help persuade Iran to reduce tensions. Three Reuters Middle East sources have given information about talks with Tehran to stop tensions ahead of Gaza ceasefire talks. Gaza ceasefire talks are scheduled to begin this Thursday in Egypt or Qatar.
Iran is not ready to accept
Despite the world’s appeal, there are no signs of Iran backing down from attacking. Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations said on Friday, “We hope that our response will be timely and will be carried out in such a way that the ceasefire talks will not be harmed.” Apart from this, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that the appeal to exercise restraint is contrary to the principles of international law.
The world’s eyes are now fixed on Iran’s counter-attack. On Monday, the US State Department had said that Iran, along with its proxies, can directly attack Israel this week. Gaza ceasefire talks are going to start on Thursday this week. In such a situation, there is a fear that any action by Iran can harm the ceasefire efforts.
